THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) announced the arrest of 11 individuals and the seizure of illegal drugs and firearms in a series of operations conducted from Sept. 14 to Sept. 15, 2025.
Acting city director Col Mannan C. Muanip said five separate operations resulted in the arrest of five suspects and the confiscation of 6.607 grams of shabu and 1.87 grams of marijuana. The seized illegal substances have a total street value of ₱45,152.
Three anti-gambling operations led to the arrest of three suspects and the confiscation of four pieces of gambling paraphernalia and ₱1,050 in bet money.
Meanwhile, two fugitives were caught in another operation, while two suspects yielded two guns during a campaign against loose firearms.
Finally, the DCPO apprehended 202 violators and imposed 194 fines during 215 operations to enforce local ordinances.
