THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) arrested 88 individuals and seized P2.6 million worth of illegal drugs and firearms in a series of operations from Aug. 31 to Sept. 6.
Acting city director Col Mannan C. Muanip said the DCPO launched 33 anti-illegal drug operations, leading to the arrest of 36 suspects.
Police also confiscated 149.8230 grams of shabu and 13,366.50 grams of marijuana, with a total standard drug price (SDP) value of over ₱2.6 million.
Meanwhile, 17 suspects were also detained following 13 anti-illegal gambling operations. Operatives also confiscated the ₱4,175 in bet money.
Also, 33 individuals with outstanding warrants were apprehended, including 11 who were on the most wanted list.
Moreover, on loose firearms, three operations led to the arrest of two suspects and the seizure of two guns.
