THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) has joined forces with the Movement Against Crime and Terrorism (MAGCAT), a local force multiplier group, to strengthen community partnerships and enhance efforts to fight crime and terrorism.
Acting city director Colonel Mannan C. Muanip held a meet and greet on Aug. 20 with officers and members of MAGCAT, founded by retired police colonel Ruben D. Ramos.
The two groups discussed how to boost volunteerism and combine their efforts to suppress crime and prevent terrorism in the city. The DCPO acknowledged the group’s crucial role as a civil society organization in promoting peace and safety.
The partnership aims to create a unified front against lawlessness, working together to ensure that Davao City remains a “city of peace and discipline.”
