THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) launched its new anti-bullying campaign, Oplan Kabalikat, at T. Awad Echevarria Elementary School in Brgy. Mandug.

Acting city director Col Mannan Muarip said the initiative, which stands for KABAtaan at LIpunan magKATuwang upang Labanan ang Bullying (Youth and Society Partnered to Fight Bullying), is designed to create safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environments throughout the city.

“The program’s core mission is to combat all forms of peer abuse, harassment, and intimidation among students, teachers, and community partners,” he said.

Oplan Kabalikat will achieve its goals through a multi-faceted approach focused on education, prevention, and strong community-police collaboration.

According to the DCPO, the program will use interactive learning sessions and focused dialogues to raise awareness about the harmful effects of bullying and empower individuals to stand against it.

In a statement, Muarip affirmed its commitment, saying, “Through interactive learning, dialogue, and prevention-focused activities, we stand united against all forms of bullying.”

The launch marks a significant step in fostering a culture of mutual respect and cooperation within Davao City’s educational system.
