THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) has issued a commendation for the collective effort that led to the safe and successful conclusion of the Kadayawan Festival’s most anticipated events, the Pamulak and Indak-Indak sa Kadayawan showdown, on August 17, 2025.
DCPO commends Davaoeños, the city government, and security forces for their united effort during Pamulak and Indak-Indak events.
Acting city director Col Mannan Muarip praised all personnel deployed for the festivities and extended his gratitude to the Local Government of Davao City, various security and safety clusters, partner agencies, and the public for their unwavering support and disciplined participation.
Thousands of spectators and participants gathered to celebrate the city’s rich cultural heritage through colorful floats and captivating street dances.
The peaceful conduct of the massive gathering was attributed to meticulous security planning, seamless collaboration among agencies, and the strong cooperation of the community.
Muarip emphasized that the triumph of the event’s security deployment is a clear testament to Davao’s spirit of Bayanihan.
He underscored that it is this shared sense of responsibility and cooperation—where the government, law enforcement, and the people move as one—that helps preserve peace, uphold traditions, and define the unity of Dabawenyos.
