THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) arrested 90 suspects during a weeklong anti-criminality and anti-illegal drug operations from Sept. 27 to Oct. 3, 2026.
City director PCOL Peter B. Madria said the operations revolved around four focused directives to secure residents through active community and barangay collaboration.
Throughout the week-long operations, the DCPO recorded the following accomplishments:
- Anti-illegal drugs: Conducted 33 operations resulting in the arrest of 37 suspects, yielding 253.13 grams of shabu with a standard drug price of ₱1,721,284, and 1,022.7 grams of marijuana valued at ₱122,724.
- Anti-illegal gambling: Carried out nine operations leading to the arrest of 12 individuals, the seizure of ₱2,960 in bet money, and the filing of nine formal cases.
- Wanted persons: Executed 39 operations resulting in the apprehension of 39 individuals, including 23 most wanted persons.
- Loose firearms: Conducted 10 operations that led to the arrest of two suspects and the recovery or surrender of multiple weapons, including two seized firearms, 5 surrendered firearms, two recovered firearms, and two turned in for safekeeping, with 2 cases filed.
Madria noted that these accomplishments reflect its personnel’s dedication, along with strong partnerships with local barangay officials, the community, and the Local Government Unit in maintaining a safe and peaceful Davao City.
