THE POLICE Regional Office (PRO) XI hauled over ₱4.1 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested 13 individuals during a series of law enforcement operations from 6 a.m. on Oct. 3 to 6 a.m. on Oct. 4, 2026.
Acting regional police director PBGEN Benigno L. Guzman said their data showed 11 operations against illegal drugs, yielding 553.35 grams of shabu, 1,024.91 grams of marijuana leaves, and 225 grams of marijuana kush, with an estimated yield of ₱4,155,769.20.
Aside from the anti-illegal drug campaign, police also arrested nine fugitives, including two listed under the top ten most wanted lists (provincial/city level), four at the municipal/station level, and five other wanted persons.
The PRO XI also arrested one individual and confiscated his weapon in the campaign against loose firearms. Law enforcers also received eight firearms surrendered by their owners to avoid prosecution.
In two separate operations, police arrested three and confiscated P500 in bet money in the
campaign against illegal gambling.
As part of the police sweep, the PRO XI also reported the following accomplishments:
- Illegal fishing: Executed 3 operations leading to the arrest of 2 persons, the seizure of 11 illegal fishing paraphernalia, and the confiscation of items valued at ₱50,500.
- Illegal Logging: Conducted 2 operations recovering 640 board feet of timber, with an estimated value of ₱15,000.
- Smuggling: Carried out 12 operations seizing smuggled items valued at ₱624,395.
- Enforcement of local ordinances: Recorded 1,552 total violators, with 1,016 individuals fined and 536 warnings given.
Guzman said the PRO XI will continue to intensify its focused operations across the Davao Region to suppress criminality and maintain peace and order under its ongoing security mandates.
