THE MINDANAO Trade and Export Foundation Inc. (MTEFI) will host the Coconut Philippines Mindanao Trade Fair 2026 at Ayala Malls Abreeza from Sept 10 to 13 to reinforce Mindanao’s position as a top producer of high-quality and innovative coconut products.

During the Kapehan sa Dabaw on Sept 7, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Davao del Sur provincial director Engr. Maria Victoria Placer said the trade fair will include business-to-business (B2B) sessions to invite buyers and meet with MSMEs and industry players.

She also hopes that the event will generate P30M of booked sales, cash, and under-negotiation transactions.

Through the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) program, the trade fair aims to connect coconut stakeholders to a wider new market and strengthen the competitiveness of the coconut industry.

Coconut Philippines Mindanao Trade Fair 2026 is in partnership with DTI regional offices and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) – Ministry of Trade, Investments and Tourism.

The event is also expected to have around 100 coconut farmer organizations, cooperatives, and enterprises, with at least 30 participants to be linked with institutional buyers.

All coconut products, including food and non-food items, along with innovations presented by different regions in Mindanao, will be exhibited throughout the three-day event.

Other activities will include a cooking demo using coconut ingredients and recipes.
