THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) has achieved a 100% accomplishment rate in its campaign against high-profile fugitives, neutralizing and arresting every individual listed in the “Top 10 Most Wanted Persons” at the city level for both April and May 2026.
City Director Col Peter Bauzon Madria said their intensified manhunt operations successfully accounted for individuals facing charges for heinous crimes, including murder, rape, robbery, carnapping, and arson.
The DCPO attributed the success to a combination of intelligence gathering, inter-unit coordination, and vital tips from the community.
According to police officials, the focus was ensuring that fugitives are finally brought to justice.”The successful accounting of all Top 10 Most Wanted Persons reflects our relentless commitment to upholding the rule of law,” Madria said.
“This sends a strong message that the DCPO remains steadfast and uncompromising. Our goal is to provide every Davaoeño with a community where law-abiding citizens can live without fear.”
Madria further noted that removing these individuals from the streets help prevent further victimization of innocent civilians.
He credited the “strong collaboration” between law enforcement and the Davao community for the campaign’s success.
