AUTHORITIES arrested a high target drug personality and seized ₱21,000 worth of suspected dried marijuana leaves in a drug buy-bust operation conducted in Purok 1, Barangay Manuel Guianga, Tugbok, Davao City, on June 30, 2025, at 6:03 p.m.
PDEA XI Nephi Noli Dimaandal identified him as alias Jose, 31, and also a resident of the said barangay, was apprehended for selling one kilo of suspected dried marijuana leaves worth ₱20,000 to an undercover agent posing as a buyer.
Also seized from the suspect were four sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves with an estimated value of ₱1,500 and the buy-bust marked money. Dimaandal said the motorcycle he used in his illegal drug transaction was also confiscated.
The suspect will face a charge for violating Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
