THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) arrested two alleged drug peddlers and seized suspected shabu valued at ₱142,800 at around 2:10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, along Bypass Road in Pioneer Village, Barangay Buhangin Proper.
The sting was a joint effort led by the City Drug Enforcement Unit/Special Operations Group under Lt Col Randy P. Sambalod, in close coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) XI.
Acting DCPO director Col Mannan C. Muarip said the arrest was made possible through inter-agency collaboration involving the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit XI, the 1st and 2nd City mobile force companies, and the Buhangin Police Station.
“This unified effort demonstrates the power of teamwork, intelligence sharing, and coordinated execution in combating illegal drug activities,” the DCPO stated in a press statement.
