THE 10TH Infantry Division (10ID), in collaboration with the provincial government of Davao del Norte, provided essential government services to 350 residents of Barangay Madaum, Tagum City, on Feb. 24, 2026.
The outreach was conducted under Oplan KKK (Kaagapay sa Kalinaw ug sa Kalamboan ).
Led by the 60th Infantry Battalion and supported by the 10ID Dental Dispensary and Station Hospital, the Medical and Dental Civic Action Program offered consultations, eye screenings, and the distribution of medicines, vitamins, food packs, school supplies, and seedlings.
The mission also provided legal assistance, haircuts, a feeding program, and free slippers for residents.
Major General Alvin Luzon, commander of the 10ID, emphasized that the initiative highlights the strong synergy between the military, local government units, and stakeholders in advancing community welfare.
“This initiative reflects our continuing commitment to bring essential services closer to the people. Together with our partners, we remain steadfast in supporting communities toward a safer, healthier, and more progressive future,” Luzon said.
In addition to the service delivery, the 60th Infantry Battalion conducted an information awareness drive regarding the West Philippine Sea to enhance public understanding of national sovereignty and maritime security.
