THE DEPARTMENT of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) XI has granted a total of 257,059 households with cash assistance of P2.5 billion, reaching a target of 100.07% under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in 2025.
According to DSWD XI regional director Rhuelo Aradanas, 38,383 had graduated or exited the program due to self-sufficiency or natural attrition.
He said 99.22% of the households underwent assessment, and confirmed improvements in social functioning and household capacity via the Social Welfare and Development Indicators (SWDI).
Under the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), 8,251 4Ps households were assisted in line with DSWD memorandum circular no.19.
Key initiatives that benefited the 4Ps in the year 2025 are the “Bagong Pilipinas Caravan”, the “First 1,000 Days Campaign”, pilot implementation of the i-Registro system, and others.
Last year, DSWD XI distributed cash grants to 272,644 4Ps households. In Mar 2024, 12,796 had graduated from the program, with 10,041 being level 3, while 4,748 exited.
