THE DEPARTMENT of Tourism (DOT) XI awarded five challengers who earned the title “Ultimate Conquerors” of the Davao Adventure Challenge Season 2 on Feb 27 during a ceremony held at Ayala Malls Abreeza Activity Center.
Five winners triumphed in their journey of hiking trails, water thrills, diving, chasing waterfalls, cave explorations, and many activities where they had reached 500 points and above in becoming Ultimate Conquerors of Season 2.
The participants are Jasper Shaquille Lumbre, Nestle Jane Ylanan, Johnmark Rafols, Carlo Jay Limbojan, and Babe Mary Vil Decena, who were rewarded with DAC shirts, medals, giftchecks, Grab vouchers, and others.
Both Decena and Limbojan gathered 710 points throughout the challenge and received bigger rewards. Decena was the first to complete 710 points and shared her experiences as an adventure seeker, saying that Davao Region has so much to offer.
On the same day, the winners of Challenger (150), Voyager (200), and Explorer (300) were also honored, each receiving their own prize.
DAC Season 2 runs Sept. 1, 2025, to Aug. 31, 2026, and introduces 30 adventure sites across Region XI for newcomers and experienced adventurers to partake in various challenges.
