AUTHORITIES dismantled an alleged drug den and arrested four suspects during a buy-bust around 2:55 a.m. in Purok 4, Barangay Consolacion, Panabo City, on Jan. 17, 2026.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Davao del Norte Provincial Office led the operation, along with the Philippine Coast Guard, the 2nd Davao del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company, and the Panabo City Police Station.
The primary target, identified by the alias Agaw, 27, the alleged maintainer of the den, was arrested after selling a sachet of suspected shabu weighing approximately one gram to a PDEA undercover agent for ₱8,000.
Also apprehended during the raid were alias Tasyo, an alleged employee of the den, and two visitors identified as alias James and alias Raymart.
Seized during the operation were eight heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu of various sizes, 15 grams (approximate total weight) of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱120,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked buy-bust money.
The suspects are currently in custody and will face charges for violations of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
